Publications
Publications are the imprint that the researcher leaves as a legacy for the scientific community. They are the final product of, in many cases, years of work, and on the other hand they are the most direct proof of research activity. In other words, if a great idea is not embodied in a publication, for all intents and purposes the idea does not exist for the community. The weight of the researcher in each publication will depend strongly on the number of authors and their position in the co-authorship list, since this order is directly related to the net contribution of each member. When there is a collaboration between several researchers with the ultimate goal of publishing, there must be a moral commitment on the part of everyone to perform that task assigned to them. From my point of view, it is important to take care of the appearance of the article throughout the process until its publication, since other researchers may rely on our work to create theirs.
